So far, one of the better decisions that we've made as a couple. Since cruising in the city is pretty near impossible, we took a more 'dart at a map' approach and found ourselves taking our first mini-road trip in the new wheels down south to Pebble Beach. We both got burnt to a crisp by the end of the day with the top down and all (ahhh, sun screen, lesson learned), but it was worth it.Still crazy excited about living so close to the water again. Too many years in Dallas and then Brussels have kept these Montgomerys too far away from the ocean. And you might remember my first foray into the Pacific.. The water is still freezing down here too. Good thing the sights around here more than make up for the temps! Pebble Beach, most definitely on that list! The area's got this 17-mile drive going for it - the thing that first caught our attention to head down this way. Winding roads were taking us by beaches and cliffs, through forests with dense fog and then peaks of sun. It was giving us just about anything and everything. And apparently there's a famous golf course, too? Neither of us are golfers, but if we were, this place wouldn't be too shabby to hit some little white balls around. Call it a hole in one? I don't know. Do people say that for stuff that's good? If not, we should start it..Oh, and if you didn't notice, we think leetle birds are adorable. I mean, c'mon!
