Easy Tomato and Basil Bruschetta Recipe | MontgomeryFestOne of our favorite take-it-easy weekend activities is taking a walk down to the market and collecting ingredients for that nights meal and probably a few peonies if they're quality stocked.  We started this back in Dallas with a backpack and running shoes. We felt fried pickles were okay if you got your exercise in first, plus we never perfected it and most of the breading would fall off, so it was fine. Alotta work for pickles. But then again, we can't get them here. Not the 'real' ones..ya know, the good dill. It's already on our grocery list for America. Wait. Where were we? Markets. And life, really. These days, we walk to the markets. Meander around and make great use out of our canvas totes. That's the way it is here in Europe. At least my life. Casual. Breezy. And funnily enough, farm fresh.
