A Day Long Date with Daniel Wellington
These days of just the two of us are numbered and cherished. Our alarm clocks are turned off any chance we get. Quiet dates are at an all time high. We're taking full advantage of having no agenda but where the wind takes us when we're off of work. Last weekend, the wind was feeling particularly breezy towards Primrose Hill. When Daniel Wellington offered to dress our wrists for a day long date, we took it as a challenge to have a little editorial fun. Take a look!
We set off and strolled along Regents Canal admiring the Londoners taking advantage of prosecco glasses along the water. We made note to hire a private boat for future sunny afternoon dates once it's the three of us. I'm weirdly excited for this babe to experience wind in her hair. Our afternoon lunch was served picnic style once we arrived at the windy fields of Primrose Hill.
After resting up, we headed up to the top of the hill for that incredible view of London's skyline. Now, when I say 'headed up to the top', I'm making it sound easy. One of the funniest sights has got to be someone pushing a pregnant woman up a hill. I got such a kick out of it in San Francisco and, even though London hills have nothing on SF hills, I still need the extra push. So, up we went, Justin's hand on my back, getting smiles all around and nods from parents who know the struggle all to well. The view was well worth it!
When we got home, we spiffied up and put on our date night attire. DW watch bands are easily interchangeable, so we swapped our casual looks for a dressier effect. I love that this rose gold compliments most of my date night outfits. The watch was the easy choice, a dress that tailors to the two of us was a bit harder. We had dinner on the town and called the challenge a success. But, to be sure, these soon-to-be-parents were in bed before our watch dials hit 10pm!
